Q: What do you get when you take 3 teenage girls shopping for a Homecoming dress??

A: A very LONG afternoon!!!

Yesterday afternoon, Kari and I were invited to tag along on the "Homecoming dress shopping trip" with Ashley, 2 of her friends, Ashley's mom and siblings. (In case you are giving me a funny look right now....yes, I do get along with Ashley's mom and we have been known to do things together with Ashley. And I love her 2 brothers, Andrew & Chase, and her sister, Caitlin....who have on occasion come over to our house with Ashley to hang out. My philosophy is...they are an important part of her life so her "other" family is our family, too!!) I'm pretty sure I was invited to go only because I have the credit card!!! Just kidding...I think!

And the winner is....

It is so cute on...she wouldn't let me take a picture with it on....you know, the whole bra hanging out thing!! Anyway, she found the dress pretty quickly. Her poor friend, Tenny wasn't so lucky. It took some time (okay...a lot of time) to find her the perfect dress!! But we finally did....YEA!! Here she is doing the happy dance at the checkout!

Even though it was a long shopping trip, I had a really good time. These girls are so sweet and funny...I can't wait to see them all dressed up for Homecoming!!

Meanwhile....while all this shopping was going on, Kari and Caitlin (Ashley's little sister at her mom's...she is only a couple months older than Kari and they love to be together!)....

...needed some entertainment, too!!
