Banquet Night!

Last night was Kari's gymnastics banquet. We had a great time...I think the girls had the best time of all. It was so much fun to see them all dressed up!!

The level 4 team (Kari's team) was awarded their 2008 State Champion trophy! They were so excited! All the girls received an individual trophy for all their hard work this year. Coach Carlos put together a great video of the girls. He also made each girl their own special collage poster!

On a side note....some of you may remember a few weeks ago when a couple of us girls took the purse challenge to see what all we lugged around with us! Kari took a little purse with her last night to the banquet. I had no idea what was in there....so after she went to bed last night, I took a little peek. Here is what she took in her purse to the banquet:Orbit gum, chapstick, a pen, Sweet Tarts, and an Easter egg. The gum, chapstick, and pen I could see, but why would she take candy and above all why is there an Easter egg in her purse???? So, this morning I asked her what the egg was for....she informed me it was a trash can for all her gum wrappers. She looked at me like, Duh!!! Of course it is a trash can...why didn't I think of that???
