Since starting my Photography class, I am so excited about photography and what I can do with the pictures. I currently have Paint Shop Pro Photo and have had it for almost a year. I never took the time to figure out everything it can do….just enough to do some basic photo editing. I have had Photoshop Elements on my wish list thinking Paint Shop Pro was somehow inferior.
I decided to buy a book about PSP and see what I could learn about it. I had a friend tell me she loved this program and for what I wanted to do with pictures…it was perfect for me.
She was right…I did a little reading today and a little experimentation. I took some of the pictures I took for homework and tweaked them just a bit. See what you think……

Just subtle differences, but I love knowing how to experiment with my current software. So, Photoshop you are out for now….I think I will just learn about the one I have. What do you guys think of the pictures….comments are appreciated :)

well first of all, how you managed to make BENCHES look beautiful I have no idea. :) I love the subtle differences, that I can definitely see. I like the little color boost you did. Really, these are fantastic. I think my class is too detailed for my tired mind, b/c I am a WORSE photographer as of now (changing from auto to manual has been a killer!). I'm not giving up though!!
GREAT JOB! And yay for you for buying a book, and getting after PSP. I had that program and my Dad swore by it, but I was the sucker who bought into the whole PSE craze!
i think these pics are totally great! i love the editing you did! you have a great eye and it looks like that photog class is really paying off! man i wanna do that...
