Yay!! I have finally joined the DSLR club!! I have been waiting and wishing for months to get in…and now it has finally happened!! I went on Monday night and bought this sweet camera….
I got the Nikon D40 with the 18-55mm lens and the 55-200mm VR lens. I love this camera!! Here are a few test shots….

Looks like I'm going to have to save up some money and invest in one...to take to ALASKA!!! My dropped-dunked-scratched-partless camera isn't going to cut it for this trip!!!

Great pics!!! Have fun playing!!The only problem with these cameras is that all of a sudden you'll go from maybe having a few hundred pictures on your computer to a few thousand!!! (Well, now I just need an external hard drive for all of said pictures!!!)
