Belize-Part 2, Saturday

This was the day we hit the ground running!! We did 16 surgeries on Saturday....it was one long day in the OR!! It was worth it because it was 16 people's lives that we changed on that day. And we might have had fun while we were doing it....okay, we did have a lot of fun!! If you don't have your sense of humor, then what do you have.....

This is the eye team....a.k.a Dr. Gilliland and his girls!!!

On Team Anesthesia is the great Dr. Tommy Spain (a.k.a Gecko)

On Team Nursing is of course, me (a.k.a MB)

And rounding out Team Nursing is Cindy (a.k.a Cindy Loo)

And playing for Team Surgeon is Dr. Grant Gilliland (a.k.a Dr. G or G-man)

And assisting Dr. G on Team Surgeon is Dr. Tripp Parker (a.k.a Tripp)

At some point we started to lose our minds.....

So you would think after a long day like this we would go back to our hotel and go straight to bed. Ummm...not so much.

I'm not really sure why we thought this picture was so funny....fatigue, I guess! And check out my awesome support hose.....I had to wear them day and night to keep my cankles under control. Don't be jealous....
