Friday was Kari's Valentine's Day party at school...also know as Sugarfest 2009. Why, oh why, do we think it is a good idea to fill our children with sugar and then bring them home...with US!!! Year after year, we all make the same mistake...oooh give them a sugar cookie to decorate with frosting and lots of cute heart sprinkles. NO!!! This would be a great idea if we were having the party at say, 8am, and then leaving them at school for the day. Nope...we fill them with sugar and then take them home...when will we ever learn???
See, this is where it all starts....
And, of course, we, doing what any good room mom would do, dig through our kids' bags looking for chocolate....
...and you know their teacher is over in the corner laughing her a** off because we have to take these monsters home in 5 minutes!!
