If I have to do it, I might as well enjoy it!!

Grocery shopping that is!! For some unknown reason, even though we eat out a lot, we run out of groceries pretty quick around here. For that reason, I find myself at the grocery store at least once a week...if not more!! Steve is not the grocery store kind of guy...so it falls under my job description.

That being said, if I have to go somewhere at least once a week for an hour (and $150)...it should be an enjoyable experience. The only store close to me is WalMart (UGH!!!) and I used to do my weekly shopping there. It was a beating and I was pretty lucky to never get beaten while I was in there!! The WalMart by my house looks like they took it out of South Dallas with the people and all and plopped it down in Plano. I wouldn't recommend going there after dark unless you are packing some heat prepared.

Which brings me to the point of my story (wait, where was I going with this again???). A few months ago I discovered my favorite grocery store ever!! It is light and bright, the aisles are big, the carts actually drive straight, they have "speciality" items, nobody there is shopping in their slippers or beating their kids in the aisle, and they even have baggers who insist on taking your groceries to the car for you! What?? At WalMart, you are lucky if they actually put your groceries in a bag and you can bet on the fact that they will put the bread in with the can foods!! Presenting a little slice of heaven....

I LOVE, LOVE this place!! Since I have discovered it, I have not been back to WalMart...okay, once last week, but I only needed 2 things and I was right there, but I hated every minute of it!!! So, if you have not checked this place out, you need to!! Now I look forward to my shopping trips, especially since school is back in and I don't have to drag the kids with me. Be warned though...I have never, ever made it out of this store for under $150. Not because it is expensive, but because I love everything there and I can't stop putting things in my cart!! That could be why I can't seem to lose 10lbs......

Until next time....
