Central Park Zoo

We had so much fun at the zoo!! It was great....not too big and it was pretty easy to navigate. All our favorite animals were there....polar bears, sea lions & seals, penguins, and much more! They also had a separate "Children's Zoo" where the kids could feed and touch animals. Although, I do have to admit, it is kind of weird to find polar bears and sea lions in the middle of Central Park.

The penguins were hilarious. If you put your face up to the glass, they would come right up and put their beaks to the glass and tap. We also got to see their feeding time. They feed each one individually and keep track of them by numbers. The penguins knew it was feeding time and all followed the guys, but once they got their allotted fish, they walked off....this would never work in our family!!
The polar bears were the cutest!! I'm pretty sure the bigger one had some kind of schizophrenia going on....he kept swimming in the same exact pattern with the same exact motions....over and over again. Guess I would be a little crazy too if I was couped up in a zoo and in the wrong climate!
