Weekend of Fun!!

Since we were taking Ashley to camp, we decided to make a weekend of it at Sea World. We left early Saturday morning and spent Saturday afternoon and Sunday at Sea World.

This is after we rode Journey to Atlantis....you might get wet or you might get soaked!! Somehow, I was the only one on our row that escaped the soaked part....the other three weren't so lucky!! I don't think the picture does it justice....they got soaked!!!

We had a blast....even though it was crowded and HOT!!! Some very interesting people watching can be done at Sea World....you would not believe some of the things we saw this weekend. Do people not look in the mirror before they leave the house???

Saturday night we stayed at a hotel on the Riverwalk....so we went to our favorite Mexican restaurant, Casa Rio!

On the way back to Dallas last night we drove through some pretty scary storms north of Waco. It would not surprise me in the least if there were tornadoes in the area....it was pretty scary for a few minutes. I snapped this picture as we were getting past the last of the storms just north of Hillsboro.

Yikes!! Scary Texas weather! Luckily after this we had an uneventful rest of the ride....we made it home safe and sound!!
