Carnival 2008

Kari's school had their annual Carnival last night. Kari had a blast!! She got to get in the firetruck....of course, one of the firemen remembered her from the night she broke her arm. She was pretty impressed with that!

Good thing my sweet girl is left-handed, because most of the games involved some kind of throwing.

She also played and won Bingo for Books...I won a round, too! How come I can never win when there is money involved??? I was pretty excited...of course, I beat a bunch of elementary school kids, but whatever! She did the critter walk...kind of like a cake walk, but with stuffed animals for the prizes. Like she needed another stuffed animal, but here she is checking to see if she was standing on the winning number. She was! Great...another stuffed animal to add to our ever growing collection!

I got some great bargains at the silent auction! Of course...I needed none of it, but hey, it was a great deal and for a good cause!
