The Drama Queen Is Back!!

Kari is a drama queen...not sure where she gets that from, maybe Steven. he!he! Anyway, imagine Steven's and my surprise at how well she has handled her broken arm, surgery, the hospital, etc. She never cried...didn't even complain the whole time. I kept asking her if she bumped her head when she broke her arm because this was not the Kari that I knew. My Kari wants to put a band-aid on everything even tiny, little scratches. Not to mention how much she whines and complains about everything hurting!! So I was sure she had some kind of head injury because she was so quiet about the whole thing.

Not to worry....she is back and better than ever! I know her arm hurts and I know she had some nerve damage and that is causing some pain in her fingers, but she never made a peep during the worst of it and now she doesn't stop complaining. I mean she wants to take medicine every 30 minutes! Earlier today, Steven found her walking around with the Motrin bottle in her pocket. Great, my 7 year old is walking around with Motrin in her pocket! She said she couldn't get the lid open so she doesn't take them unless I okay it...but she just felt better with the bottle in her pocket. He made her go put it back in the cabinet! She cried...which is what she does a lot of lately. Me too since I haven't had a full night's sleep in almost 2 weeks. And taking care of Kari 24/7. So is it a wonder that Steven spent most of the day outside "mowing the yard"...I mean our yard is big, but....not that big!! I guess it could have something to do with one girl in his house crying about her arm and the other girl crying because the one girl complains all night and won't let her sleep!! I won't name any names to protect the innocent!

So, the drama queen is back! Is it Monday, yet??? Or even better do they make Ambien for children???

Until next time...
