Well, I made it through my surgery and so far my recovery has been pretty uneventful. Thankfully, I have many great friends and wonderful family to help out. My friends have been dropping off meals and Joan has been doing my laundry. And who could forget my wonderful husband...he has stood by me through this whole thing and actually spent the night with me in the hospital on the pull-out chair (that alone deserves an award.)
So what do I do all day, you ask? Well, I usually start off the day with a shower and a clean pair of PJs. Then I am so worn out from the shower that I have to take a nap! The rest of my day consists of movies on Lifetime network, reading the latest gossip in US weekly, and visiting with friends and family! Not a bad life, if I do say so myself! I also have to say, thank goodness for pain medicine. Otherwise, I might not be getting around as well as I am. Also, my wonderful in-laws are here this weekend to help with everything. Just having them here makes me feel better.....especially since the kids are entertained, the dishes are being done, and dinner is being served! You all will never know how much of a help everyone has been so far. I am also going to include some pictures of the beautiful flowers I got in the hospital. They really brighten my day! Well, I must go back to bed now....a Lifetime movie awaits!
